Special District Leadership Foundation Scholarship

Streamline has partnered with the Special District Leadership Foundation to provide scholarships to cover the cost of a special district website for 15 months, to help increase transparency and accountability among some of California’s smallest special districts. To qualify, districts must have a website that isn't ADA compliant, or no website at all.

Why Streamline?

Streamline Web is a platform designed to help special districts engage with their community and easily comply with state and federal mandates.

Streamline's subscription includes all of the necessary building blocks to have a compliant website, including:

  • Basic site set-up and a domain name
  • Unlimited hosting, storage, and support
  • Staff training
  • California and SDLF transparency checklist
  • Section 508/ADA accessibility compliance

It really is that easy!

How it works:

  1. Qualifying California special districts may apply using the SDLF scholarship application form.
  2. Once awarded, SDLF will connect the district to a Streamline specialist and they will sign Streamline's subscription agreement form.
  3. District staff will complete the 1-hour, online training and add in all required content.
  4. Upon expiration of the scholarship (15 months), the district will be responsible for the low subscription fee (as outlined in the agreement form).
