Over the coming weeks and months, Special Districts may need to navigate unfamiliar challenges during a period of remote work and social distancing. In this webinar we will share best practices related to meeting and communicating during a crisis, and we encourage our districts to chime in and share their experience and knowledge as well.
Some topics we’ll explore:
- What laws / guidelines apply to remote meetings? (Recent Executive Order changes the rules for CA districts - we'll discuss that, as well as what's happening in other states)
- What considerations need to be kept in mind when evaluating solutions for internal vs. public meetings?
- What technology is available and how does it work? (We'll mention various options but discuss Zoom Meetings vs Zoom Webinar in some detail, since we use both so extensively at Streamline)
